SMPD2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMPD2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 19 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMPD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, Fibronectin, and Heregulin. Each is linked with SMPD2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMPD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMPD2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, 14-3-3_beta grouped by SMPD2-low versus SMPD2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMPD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMPD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
