Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMPD2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,422 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMPD2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Quinone biosynthetic process, Ubiquinone biosynthetic process, and Ubiquinone metabolic process. Each is linked with SMPD2 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMPD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMPD2 results are reported.
