Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMO protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,671 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMO-associated genes across cancer lineages are GIMAP2, LPXN, and TMEM156. Each is linked with SMO in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMO-to-partner and partner-to-SMO results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMO versus GIMAP2 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.50.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMO→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMO) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
