Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMO RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,054 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMO-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM171A2, SEPTIN5, and ARHGEF25. Each is linked with SMO in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMO-to-partner and partner-to-SMO results are reported.
