Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMIM31 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 9,229 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMIM31-associated proteins across cancer lineages are TFF3, AGR2, and GALNT7. Each is linked with SMIM31 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMIM31-to-partner and partner-to-SMIM31 results are reported.
