SMG8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMG8 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMG8-associated genes across cancer lineages are FoxM1, JNK2, and Annexin-1. Each is linked with SMG8 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMG8-to-partner and partner-to-SMG8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FoxM1 grouped by SMG8-low versus SMG8-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMG8→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMG8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
