SMG8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMG8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 130 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMG8-associated genes across cancer lineages are HTR3D, ZSCAN1, and WNT9B. Each is linked with SMG8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMG8-to-partner and partner-to-SMG8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HTR3D grouped by SMG8-low versus SMG8-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMG8→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMG8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
