Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMG1P4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMG1P4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SMG1P4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMG1P4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where SMG1P4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
