Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMCR8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,859 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMCR8-associated genes across cancer lineages are C9orf72, ITGAX, and RYK. Each is linked with SMCR8 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMCR8-to-partner and partner-to-SMCR8 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMCR8 versus C9orf72 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.54.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMCR8→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMCR8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
