Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMCHD1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,919 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMCHD1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of centrosome cycle, Double-strand break repair, and Double-strand break repair via homologous recombination. Each is linked with SMCHD1 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMCHD1-to-partner and partner-to-SMCHD1 results are reported.
