Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCC2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMARCC2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SMARCC2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SMARCC2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
