Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMARCA5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SMARCA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and DLBC are the cancer types where SMARCA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
