Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCA2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMARCA2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SMARCA2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SMARCA2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
