Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMARCA1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SMARCA1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, BLCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where SMARCA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
