Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMAP2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,395 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAP2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Maintenance of blood-brain barrier, Regulation of oocyte maturation, and Nucleosome assembly. Each is linked with SMAP2 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAP2-to-partner and partner-to-SMAP2 results are reported.
