Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMAP1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMAP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are GATA6, Heregulin, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with SMAP1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAP1-to-partner and partner-to-SMAP1 results are reported.
