Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMAD2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,147 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPRD1A, TXNL4A, and RBFA. Each is linked with SMAD2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMAD2 versus RPRD1A in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.38.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMAD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMAD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
