Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMAD1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,792 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAD1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are DNA-templated transcription termination, Positive regulation of DNA recombination, and Regulation of DNA repair. Each is linked with SMAD1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD1-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD1 results are reported.
