Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLX4IP RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLX4IP data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SLX4IP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLX4IP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and PAAD show a favorable association.

KICH, LGG, and READ are the cancer types where SLX4IP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
