Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLX4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLX4 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SLX4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLX4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and READ show a favorable association.
MESO, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SLX4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
