Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLX1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLX1B data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SLX1B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLX1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, SARC, and CHOL are the cancer types where SLX1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
