Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLURP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLURP1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLURP1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLURP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
HNSC and CCRCC are the cancer types where SLURP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
