Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLPI Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLPI data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher SLPI Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLPI expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LAML, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SLPI Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
