Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLN data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SLN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where SLN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
