Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLFN11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLFN11 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLFN11 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLFN11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and CESC are the cancer types where SLFN11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
