Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLFN11 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLFN11 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SLFN11 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLFN11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SLFN11 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
