Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLCO6A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLCO6A1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SLCO6A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLCO6A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLCO6A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
