Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLCO4A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLCO4A1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLCO4A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLCO4A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LUAD, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLCO4A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
