Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLCO1B1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLCO1B1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLCO1B1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLCO1B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, READ, and SKCM are the cancer types where SLCO1B1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
