Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC9A9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC9A9 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SLC9A9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC9A9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where SLC9A9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
