Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC7A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC7A2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC7A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC7A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, BLCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where SLC7A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
