Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC7A14 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC7A14 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SLC7A14 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC7A14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and LGG show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where SLC7A14 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
