Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC6A9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC6A9 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher SLC6A9 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC6A9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCS, ACC, and KICH are the cancer types where SLC6A9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
