Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC6A7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC6A7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SLC6A7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC6A7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, HNSC, and SARC are the cancer types where SLC6A7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
