Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC6A4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,208 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SLC6A4-associated genes across cancer lineages are RASIP1, PON2, and PRR4. Each is linked with SLC6A4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC6A4-to-partner and partner-to-SLC6A4 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SLC6A4 versus RASIP1 in LUAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.25.
