Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC6A15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC6A15 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SLC6A15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC6A15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, PAAD, and STAD are the cancer types where SLC6A15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
