Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC6A1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC6A1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SLC6A1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC6A1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and THCA show a favorable association.

STAD, UVM, and DLBC are the cancer types where SLC6A1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
