Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC66A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC66A3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher SLC66A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC66A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
PDAC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC66A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
