Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC66A2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC66A2 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SLC66A2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC66A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and KIRP show a favorable association.

ACC, UVM, and KIRP are the cancer types where SLC66A2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
