Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC4A11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC4A11 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC4A11 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC4A11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, CHOL, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC4A11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
