Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC4A10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SLC4A10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where SLC4A10 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SLC4A10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, LUSC, and KICH are the cancer types where SLC4A10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
