Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC47A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC47A2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC47A2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC47A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, THYM, and PRAD are the cancer types where SLC47A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
