Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC47A1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC47A1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC47A1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC47A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.
CCRCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC47A1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
