Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC46A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC46A2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher SLC46A2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC46A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.

THYM, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC46A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
