Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC45A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC45A1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SLC45A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC45A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.

ESCA, THYM, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC45A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
