Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC43A2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC43A2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC43A2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC43A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC43A2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
