Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC41A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC41A1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SLC41A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC41A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, SKCM, and STAD are the cancer types where SLC41A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
