Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC39A5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 26 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SLC39A5-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, MSH2, and MSH6. Each is linked with SLC39A5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC39A5-to-partner and partner-to-SLC39A5 results are reported.
