Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC39A3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 8,973 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SLC39A3-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM135B, CSMD1, and LYST. Each is linked with SLC39A3 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC39A3-to-partner and partner-to-SLC39A3 results are reported.
