Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC39A14 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC39A14 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC39A14 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC39A14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC39A14 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
